Dundee Original Honey Brown Lager

There's a honey bee holding a mug of beer and playing the drum on the label. That's not the way I remember this beer from my past. But I do have fond memories of liking the honey flavor in it.

I remember drinking this beer often when I lived in NY. Makes sense I guess considering Dundee Brewing Company is in Rochester. One time sticks out in my mind. We used to go skiing a lot when I lived there and my roommates and I went up to Gore Mountain in upstate NY a handful of times. Dive hotel, dive bars that closed at 10pm, but we still got our drink on a few times. One time we went to this bar that had Honey Brown on tap, excellent. And their special was to have them fill this gallon jug with the Honey Brown, and we indulged a few too many times. Coolest thing was that we got to keep the jug, which was decorated with the Honey Brown logo. That's around this house somewhere I think. Oh the memories, and the skiing here in South Florida sucks, so that's all I have for now.

The beer. Honey. The honey gives this beer a really sweet and enjoyable taste, very smooth and yes, I think I'll have another. I guess I will ask for it on tap too if I ever get back to NY.
