Last new one for today--Leinenkugel's Honey Weiss, which is a Wheat Beer supposedly brewed with real Wisconsin Honey. Not sure how Wisconsin honey differs from honey from the rest of the country--they probably have to get that honey though in the 3 months of the year when Wisconsin is warm enough to support bee life, so I guess that makes it rarer there.
I recently gave a decent review for Leinenkugel's Sunset Wheat. This one's a little different, although based on its name I expected to actually taste honey in the beer. Maybe if I close my eyes real hard, I can actually taste it. But considering how sweet honey is, I'd have liked to taste it a little more like in Dundee's Original Honey Brown Lager.
Ok. I like it. It's smooth, nice taste. But not what I was expecting--I wanted something that reflected the name and more HONEY.
Sorry, folks. I gotta go now and figure out how to get my speeding ticket dismissed. Supposedly going 60 in a 45 last Monday. Luckily, Florida has an entire legal practice dedicated to helping innocents like me. Check out The Ticket Clinic.
