Bell's Special Double Cream Stout

Today's my anniversary, but I still haven't forgotten you guys. I stopped at Publix on the way home to buy some Fondue for dinner, and it was the crappy Publix that is way more convenient than my normal great one. But wait, I had a really great experience today. The store manager went out of his way to say hello to me, a guy in the bakery basically shouted me down to ask my 2 year old if he'd like a cookie, and the cashier was standing in the aisle trying to find the next person ready to check out (and I had 12 items in her 10 only lane). BTW, "10 items or less" is NOT really English and you too should become a grammar prude.

Bell's Special Double Cream Stout brewed by Bell's Brewery in Comstock, Michigan is a really nice tasting beer all around. It has a great coffee and malty aroma. The flavors are dominated by coffee and caramels, a little bitter chocolate, creamy milk and malty flavors too. It is a smooth and easy to drink beer. The 6.1% alcohol is not even slightly noticeable, and the finish and aftertaste retain the coffee flavors very nicely. For a stout, it is a little weak and light bodied, so beware of that if you like thick stouts. I have some starter-beer friends that I think will certainly appreciate this beer. But for everyone, go ahead and try it. You will like it. I guarantee it (not really, but I like that guy from the Men's Wearhouse).
