The wife walked in on me tonight. No, idiot! She just came home early from work and interrupted my beer review and story here. You know what? Fuck it! No soup for you! BTW, Seinfeld is one of the best sitcoms ever made.
Tonight I'm drinking Kilt Lifter brewed by Four Peaks Brewing Company in Tempe, Arizona. This one came back from my coworker's business trip to Phoenix last month. Thanks again! And yep, two days in a row with an interestingly named beer.
The aroma has lots of bread and toasted scents, with a good dose of caramel and sugary sweetness. The flavors start out earthy and grainy, with quite a bit of bread and malt. Some light fruit and citrus are also in the background, along with a hint of caramel and spiciness. I guess that sums it up--there are plenty of decent flavors and they are balanced pretty well, but they are all too bland and lacking something. Medium body and medium carbonation. Not bad and very drinkable, just not a standout. The End!
