The beer today is Jazz Amber Light Beer brewed by Joseph Huber Brewing Company in Monroe, Wisconsin for Dixie Brewing Company in New Orleans, Louisiana. Apparently Dixie is still rebuilding after that bitch Katrina came to town several years ago. They are trying to "re-beer New Orleans" with this "award-winning beer" that has a "New Orleans touch". OK. God Speed! The label also has a very subtle silhouette of a jazz singer and some notes floating around on it.
Grainy corn and caramel sweet aroma. Grainy and caramel flavors to start. Thin body and low to medium carbonation. There are some herbal and grassy qualities as well. You will finish with a return to the grainy corn flavors. This beer is a very easy drinker. Certainly not supertastic, but not a bad little beer. Beat my expectations by a mile!
