This afternoon I'm drinking Hell or High Watermelon Wheat Beer brewed by 21ST Amendment Brewery in Cold Spring, Minnesota. The can says that I should agitate it before opening it because there is yeast inside, so I just put the can by the TV while Nancy Grace was speaking! Yes, she even has that effect on inanimate objects!
Wheat and generic citrus aroma, fruity but not too powerful. Bread and wheat flavors kick things off, with some melon flavors complimenting them. It's not really watermelon, though. It is more of a manufactured sweet fruit mixed with the rind type of melon flavor. A little spice shows up as the beer progresses, and some off metal flavors too. Decent carbonation, a bit thin, refreshing. This was just OK. I am actually more excited to see how this beer's clone by Phil from DosBeerigos turns out. It was a flat and non-alcoholic beer last week, but the flavors were solid! Check out #4 for a refresher.

I finally got the beer carbonated properly....only took 3 weeks.
There is an ABV it just isnt that big...thanks for saying the flavors were on though.
Take the whole comment as a compliment. I was just teasing on the carbonation and alcohol stuff. It was cool for you to let us try it before it was completed!
How does Phil's clone compare in flavor to this one? Phil, what did you do to remedy the carbonation?
I think Phil's beer just needed more time to be carbonated and alcoholized.
As far as how the flavors match up, Phil's didn't seem fake. And they were more noticeable; not the white stuff from inside the rind either.
Phil should be brewing for these guys!
