Tonight I am repeating a beer that I had back in October of last year, Hop Wallop brewed by Victory Brewing Company in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. This is a "Very Hoppy Ale [brewed] For Your Taste". Enjoy by January 19, 2011.
Tangerine + Pine = A Weird Tree, or actually the aroma for this beer, beautiful. The flavors start out fruity, sweet, but it's hard to pick out any particular fruit, a bit muddled. A strong pine flavor joins in next, followed by a sharp little grapefruit and lemon citrus bitter bite. Fairly smooth with medium carbonation. The 8.5% alcohol is noticeable as well, which, along with some bitter drying action toward the end, becomes a fairly big turn-off. I liked this much better in Round One than tonight. What can I say? Make up your own mind!

Great review! I am going to have to get some of this here in Colorado and try it for myself.
Thanks a lot. I really do like the Victory lineup, but I've had a few bumps along the way.
For sure check them out!
