What an aroma! Orange, tropical tangerine, guanábana, hops-a-many, spicy black pepper, garden, lush lusciousness.
Flavors are a treat! Good God Grand Marnier Jelly! maracuyá ice cream, ambrosial honey, candy toppings, lusty orange, pineapple and peach, pungent pepper, saporous honey, delectable butter creamsickle, sun-kissed gardenia flower blossoms, bubbly Colombiana champagne soda.
Wow! Magical Disneyesque Brewskiama! If you ever want a delicious beer, I believe I have discovered Nirvana today. No, not the Nirvana that smells like teen spirit and not the Nirvana that smells like it had sex with Courtney Love. Nirvana Nirvana!
Price? A Hefty $3 for one bottle! Hey, Ed Roberts! For that price, you're a big jerk and couldn't tell the difference between a good Uncle and a bad one. No Offense! LOL. "Kiss My Ads!"

Oh heck yeah, what a classic beer. One of the true beer standards, at least for IPAs. Holds its own right up there against the Ruination IPA by Stone in my opinion.
Glad to see you liked it too.
Definitely a beer to measure others against. Thanks for stopping by, Royce.
I will never get tired of 90 Minute! Nailed it with the honey blossom champagne soda.
Wait, you wrote this one drunk, didn't you?
Hey Marie. No, not drunk. Actually I had this guy and wrote the review while drinking another.
Then I went to exercise. Good planning, huh?
Lee,
This review is spot on. Thank you for helping me "flesh out" some of the aromas and flavors I couldn't quite figure out.
Cheers!
Ed
Ed. What are you talking about. It's Rob. Good beer, right?
I love this beer. It is a great example of what an imperial ipa should be. I put it up there with Maharaja on my top list
Yeah, Jay. No doubt. I had a Maharaja a couple nights ago with my mom. Two awesome days in a row!
After I tried many "gateway" beers suggested by Ed last year, I picked up DFH90 and was *blown away*. It definitely told me that getting into craft beer was something I wouldn't regret. The aromas and flavors absolutely rocked my balls.
Yeah, Joel. I think sometimes "gateway" beers are a letdown anyway, and turn people back to the mass produced.
"If those (gateway beers) are what this "craft beer" hype is all about, then I may as well drink Coors"
I see the Maharaja mentioned and that's another good one as well.
This makes me wonder - what's on your personal Mt Rushmore of great imperial IPAs? Sounds like based on these comments we've got at least the 90 Minute, the Ruination IPA, the Maharaja... what else?
I like Hopslam, Gubna, Gemini and Le Freak off the top of my head.
