October 2010 Top Five

You probably thought that since we're halfway through November that I had forgotten to do my October Top Five, right? Come on, pfft, please! It's just that looking at the beers I drank in October, this is gonna be freakin' hard!

What else besides the Top Five? My coworker did an impromptu guest review for me of RJ Rockers' Son Of A Peach. And with the new winter seasonal beers already arriving, I wanted to take a look at Michelob's Winter's Bourbon Cask Ale to see if this macro was any good. Was hoping for the best, but got a wolf in sheep's clothing. Skip that at all costs.

That's it.

October 2010 Top Five

2. Crème Brûlée Imperial Stout

3. Hopzilla

4. Olde School Barleywine 2010

5. Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout 2010

Honorable Mentions:

A Little Sumpin' Wild Ale

Claymore Scotch Ale

Wow! Look at all those beautiful beer colors! And let me tell you how much it hurt to put the love of my life in fifth place... Yes, that's a rhetorical statement! Three Honorable Mentions? I don't think I've done that in any other months this year. Tough crowd. These beers were so awesome!

Here are my prior 2010 Top Five lists from January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August and September. All of October's reviews can be found here. I can't wait to hear your thoughts. Any of these on your favorites lists? Thanks for reading.
