The label shows a guy in the mountains leaning over to inspect some of Bigfoot's tracks in the dirt. At first glance, you might think his ass is checking out his ass, but I'm pretty sure it's just warning him that Bigfoot is nearby.
Orange citrus and caramel aroma, hoppy and spicy all in one whiff. Sweet caramel with hoppy butterscotch syrup on top. Yep, I said it! Cotton candy with spicy black pepper coating. Uh huh! This is also quite the little alcoholic mofo, sporting all 9.6%, yet it is not harsh or hot at all, just right. Orange rind and pine flavors are great. Bitter does win but this beer is nicely balanced for the style. Dry finish with a bitter boozy aftertaste that sticks around. Creamy with nice carbonation. Really a great beer. Balance yet very diverse flavors that complement each other. Duh, it's Sierra Nevada. Get you some now!
