OK. Smells like a pilsner, grainy yet clean. Clean alcohol, phenolic right from the beginning. You know that there's alcohol but the flavors are subtle. There is a light sweetness and grainy earth flavor, but again, laid back. Creamy smooth and warming. The 7% alcohol, present throughout, leaves you with a spirits-like finish. No bad flavors, but as Homebrew Vanessa thought out loud a few weeks ago, it wasn't my thing. Try it if you'd like.

Uber pils is just OK. The peg leg, loose cannon, and black cannon are the stars of the fleet.
Hi. Yeah, I like the Peg Leg too. Haven't tried Black Cannon. And then there was Holy Sheet which I haven't had in a while. Guess I'll need to look for that again as well.
I really like this beer actually. Been a good companion to our BBQs this summer, as well kicking back and watching the ballgame.
Hey Greg. Thanks for stopping by. I am a very big fan of the Heavy Seas line of beers. They are all excellent, with my favorites being Loose Cannon and Peg Leg. I'm not a huge pilsner fan in general, which may be a reason this one landed on Just OK for me.
