Aroma? Freakin' awesome! Rich chocolate and coffee, delicioso! Rich, luscious chocolate flavors kick things off, sweet but definitely not overdone. Balance by the slightest hoppy bitter, but the real balancing force is the coffee. The coffee is smooth with great flavor, very prominent, and most importantly, no annoying harshness, perfect. The alcohol is there, not a star and practically hidden, but plays a role in accentuating the other flavors.
Subtle orange flavors dart in and out, vanilla and cherry too. Big body, low carbonation but not flat, just right. Silky smooth and creamy texture. It was pretty damn easy, a little too easy, to drink all 22 ounces of this one. It was also good a little warmer--never hit my refrigerator's max coldness as I just put it there this afternoon. I would check it out... TODAY! Oh, and also overlooked is the great price = awesome value here.

Nice job on the review. I think you've nailed this one. One of my favorite Lagunitas brews.
Thanks, Dale. Quite enjoyable.
Adding this one to my wish list!!! Anyone tried the Mississippi Mud Black and Tan? It has the most quaint packaging and depicts an alligator on a (what else) black and tan label. It's what I'm drinking tonight.
