Great citrus burst when I opened it--hoppy, bright lemon and orange rind aroma. Fruity lemon and peach flavors come first; however, they are not nearly as hoppy or bitter as I was expecting based on the citric aroma. That's just an observation, not a knock. The balance comes from some light toasted malt and subtle tropical fruit flavors. In the end, the beer remains on the barely bitter end, just enough to be nicely refreshing. Simple yet flavorful flavors. You know, Flavor Flav!
How about trying this recommendation. Take this beer to the next BBQ you attend. All of your guests will thank you. Quite enjoyable.

You had to bust out the Flavor Flav reference! This sounds pretty tasty. I'll give it a shot based solely on your review. I've had a couple of Widmer Brother brews, and have been underwhelmed, but this one may change that.
Cheers!
I like almost all of the Widmer Beers I've tried. This one was solid, too. Let me know what you think.
