Samuel Adams Chocolate Bock

Today I'm drinking Samuel Adams Chocolate Bock brewed by The Boston Beer Company in Boston, Cincinnati or Breinigsville, Pennsylvania. Unfortunately, it's not Utopias tonight, but I am checking out an annual beer that is nice to try again.

Luscious milk chocolate and cocoa aroma. Sweet chocolate continues into the flavor profile. A little coffee and some roasted bitterness also add to the flavors. Nice and creamy, prickly carbonation and little spicy nips carry you through to a really pleasant aftertaste. The 5.8% alcohol is a little noticeable at the end but not a distraction at all.

Extremely enjoyable. Should be a seasonal sixer. These guys would definitely be winning new friends and influencing a lot more people, guaranteed. I'm pretty sure that JK reads my blog, so just something to keep in mind for next year, buddy. See you next visit to Boston. :))

I've tried a ton of Sammy A's beers, but not this one. I need to queue it up!

I believe it's only for sale in one of their mixed 12's. That's too bad.
