Nomad Pilsner

Today I'm drinking Nomad Pilsner brewed by Great Divide Brewing Company in Denver, Colorado. The story on the side tells a little about this Nomad and what you can expect. As usual with this brewery, they list a handful of suggested food pairings right below that. The label depicts a nomad on a camel with a few pyramids in the distance. "Bright" and "Elegant" are front and center, describing the beer. Bottled on January 12, 2012.

Sweet aroma, light fruitiness and floral. Grassy and floral bitterness kicks off the flavors, and a nice toasted grain and fruity sweetness add a swift balance. Crisp, a little spicy and not overly bitter. The carbonation is pretty noticeable and prickly, working well with hoppy, cleansing finish. The 5.4% alcohol wasn't really noticeable at all. Simple, flavorful and enjoyable.

Yeah, these pictures aren't that great. I took them from my bedroom window. Needed more light from the inside. Sorry but I was just too lazy to go outside and snap a few. Lesson learned.
