Today I'm drinking +/-, a dark mild beer brewed by Magic Hat Brewing Company in South Burlington, Vermont. This beer was sent to me by the brewery, so expect a lot of favoritism. The label design is pretty cool. The background is designed to look like a composition notebook, you know the black and white speckled ones with the white box to write name and subject? That's what this is. It appears that this student decided to drop out of the original class and reuse the notebook by putting some masking tape over the class name. I guess you're supposed to read the beer name as Plus or Minus. Let's go!

Caramel, lightly sweet aroma. Sweet caramel and toffee flavor start. Some toast and nuttiness come next. I did notice some faint fruity cherry flavors after sipping a bit. Carbonation is prickly. Body is thin. Smooth and easy to drink. The 4.2% alcohol was not noticeable. Not bad but not really my thing. Kind of boring and there are many options with more flavor to kick back with.
