UnderDog Atlantic Lager

Today I'm drinking UnderDog Atlantic Lager brewed by Flying Dog Brewery in Frederick, Maryland. The label art by Ralph Steadman is, as usual, quite awesome. There's a sharp toothed dog that is clearly trying not to be the underdog anymore, ready to take a bite out of someone's butt. A story along those lines follows too.

Grassy, lemony aroma with a hint of toasted grains. Hoppy and bitter up front, grassy and quite spicy. Fresh with a strong lemony-zing, palate-cleansing attribute. Good carbonation, prickly and refreshing. Though you do taste a light and toasty quality in the background, this beer clearly leans to the bitter end of the spectrum. A little dry at the finish. The 4.7% alcohol isn't noticeable. Simple and enjoyable. Check it out!
