Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar

Today I'm drinking Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar brewed by Oregon Brewing Company in Newport, Oregon. The ingredients and story aren't on this label as it's only a 12 ounce bottle, but the link above will give you all of that information, plus a nice story about homebrewers, to whom this beer is dedicated. I did check this beer out numerous times in the past, but my only review came around three years ago. Long enough ago that it's basically not a repeat.

Magnificent aroma. Awesome hazelnut and fresh baked goods aroma, sweet. I honestly didn't want to stop sniffing it. Hazelnuts are the predominant flavor too. What a wonderful creamy smooth texture too. Light roast, some brown sugar and perfect buttered toast.

There is a nice hoppy and bitter answer, well balanced overall and not sweet at all. The body is not very big, medium-ish, surprising based on the aroma. But not watery by any stretch. There is a light alcohol dryness toward the end but nothing too noticeable. One of the BEST Brown Ales around! Awesome flavors! Highly recommended.
