Right up the street from Dunedin Brewery, my wife and I found our way to 7venth Sun Brewery, stop 5 on #EpicTampaBreweryTour! Even though it's right on the corner across from the convenience store, we still passed it and took a little extra time to figure out where to go. But 7venth Sun has a nice little joint-a quaint tasting room with another room where you can hang out and peer into the brewing area. That and an outside area with some picnic tables along with a few high tops in front of the brewery.
We picked a few beers from the draft list and chatted a little with the bartender about the brewery and beers. Bags of grain, barrels full of beer and kegs decorated the space throughout, maximizing what room they had nicely. I did my own self tour before resuming beer drinking!
Flight One: Graffiti Orange (Creamsicle Wheat); Mid-Life Riot (DIPA with Equinox and Azacca hops); Cut the Cable (Meyer Lemon Brett Belgian); Wolfman's Berliner
Graffiti Orange was very fruity and juicy, lightly tart, lightly bitter with a sweet orange backbone. Mid-Life Riot started with nice sweet caramel and tropical fruity flavors but finished with some good bitter balance. Cut the Cable was definitely Bretty and lemony. My wife hated it but it wasn't bad. Wolfman's Berliner, dude, holy tart lemon! Crisp, refreshing, nice job!
Next stop... Barley Mow Brewing!
