Side Trip

New Belgium recently released a new Belgian-Style Pale Ale named Side Trip. The brewery took a "side trip" to Belgium to find the perfect yeast strain for this new seasonal. Their friends at Brouwerij Van Den Bossche helped out in the end. I like the back pack sketch on the label to identify this beer. 6% alcohol. Enjoy By 08May16

Fruity aroma with some generic spice and noticeable yeast. Fruity apple flavors lead. Very yeasty in a really nice way. Herbal with some honey sweetness. Citrus, herbal, a little spicy, just enough bitterness. Not overly complex but definitely enjoyable. And my wife liked it, so you have that! Check it out!

I endorse the five stars. Amazing beer. Plus, you have to hand it to Unibroue for their names and label art.
