Cucumber Kolsch
Today I'm checking out a can of Flat12 Bierwerks' Cucumber Kolsch. This is the summer seasonal from a brewery that prides itself in making "ish-styles" of beer. The can design is pretty nice, simply depicting some hops and an cucumber. A story to the side sets your expectations. 5.2% alcohol. 28 IBU
Grainy aroma with lemon and a light fruity background. Similar lemony and grainy flavors to start. But big cucumber comes in with an interesting flair. Grassy, crackers, sourdough. Nicely carbonated.
Simple yet super unique with the cukes on full display. Lots of character and I definitely enjoyed it.
