Double Knot DIPA

Double Knot? OMFG. I spent an hour at the beginning of many a T-Ball and then 8U Little League practices teaching this skill! Four Peaks Double Knot DIPA is the big brother 9.0% alcohol beer (website says 9.2%) to their Hop Knot IPA. Same ingredients but 2 1/3 more times. As the story states, Double Knot is an easier sounding round-down of a name. 62 IBUs.

Orange, citrus, not too powerful of an aroma. Fruity orange flavors start, lightly sweet with some caramel in the beginning. Good body. Spiciness comes next alongside some citrus and a touch of pine. Nice bitter answer to the initial sweetness. Well balanced, not overly bitter. Alcohol dangerously hidden!
