Berry Monks Tripel
Weyerbacher's Berry Monks Tripel is a play on their Merry Monks Tripel, brewed with cranberries, orange peel and ginger. I'm gonna drink it right now! 9.3% alcohol. Several cranberry hot air balloons are leaving a castle on the label, probably just a typical beer run! PACKAGED 10/31/17.
Fruity, berry aroma. Taste shows a lot of honey and apples and cranberries with a little zesty orange. Those cranberries add a nice tart sharpness against that underlying sweetness.
Ginger builds, pretty spicy, sharp and aggressive! For me, way too much going on in this beer, and not in a complementary way. NOT a fan.
