This afternoon is super hot and humid. So I'm drinking Shipyard Summer Ale brewed by Shipyard Brewing Company in Portland, Maine. The label depicts a lobster in a lounge chair drinking a mug of beer on the beach. Best Enjoyed Before September, 2010.
Nice fruity aroma, orange, peach and mango. Fruity flavors to start, too, but a little less tropical. More orange and lemon and citrus, zesty tang flavors everywhere. Lightly bitter. There are some band-aid off flavors as the beer progresses with some metal on the aftertaste. Crisp, good carbonation, body is a little light. Those off flavors do persist, however, killing the experience. Not a happy ending! Try it if you want.

This beer was very boring to me just a typical lager. There are many other better summer beers out there I think.
Hey Cerveza Chica. No doubt about it. Just another boring beer, and for me, a bit below average too!
