April 2010 Top Five

It's May already. Just three weeks until our second quarterly social media beer tasting. This one will be at Coffee District in Delray Beach, Florida. I am very excited to have this meeting and to finally get to visit this place. If you missed the first extravaganza, here is the review.

Other huge news from the past few weeks: Total Wine in Pembroke Pines will be hosting an event in August with Brooklyn Brewmaster Garrett Oliver! And Anchor Brewing got sold! Wow!

But now it's time to let you know my Top Five for April, which was a solid month for delicious beers.

April 2010 Top Five

1.  Choklat Imperial Stout

2.  Bare Tree Barley Wine Style Weiss Beer 2009

3. Captain's Reserve Imperial India Pale Ale

4. Mischief

5. Gubna Imperial IPA

Honorable Mentions: A. Stone IPA and B. V-Twelve

Here are my prior Top Five lists from January, February and March. April is over, but April was great. Here is the entire archive from the month. Let me know how you'd rank them and where I went wrong. Thanks so much for reading and your comments!

That Garrett Oliver guy was a judge on Iron Chef America's Beer episode.

Did you catch it?

No, I don't remember seeing that episode, but it doesn't surprise me one bit he'd be a judge for that one.

Gotta go find it on YouTube or Hulu.

I've only had the Choklat Stout so I'll have to get my hands on the others... I most def trust your opinion on brews.

Thanks, Hannah. Get them if you can. All are excellent!
