May 2010 Top Five

June already. Time to start hoarding gasoline and enough water to survive the Apocalypse.  Oh, sorry, my mistake. Hurricane season just started yet you'd think the people on the news and in Publix had some kind of future-telling powers! It's been a few years since my neck of Florida had a really terrible storm. Don't these people still have canned corn and candles for dire emergencies? If the answer is NO, then they better have given those items to charity during the US Postal Service Food Drive, which stops by every year. The USPS should do it quarterly, as I've said before, but then again, it's another inefficient-going-bankrupt-government institution.

In other May news, Beer Tasting Extravaganza: Coffee District Edition took place on May 22, 2010 in Delray Beach. What a great event that was! Take your time and read the long post linked above. Let me know what you think. What else, you ask? I did a week of guest reviews over on DosBeerigos.com and also made an appearance during the Belgian beer challenge on 100beers30days.com. Finally, I saw Roy Halladay pitch a Perfect Game against the Marlins on 5/29/2010!

Here are May's top beers. Good month, with a great finish!
