Wheat dominates the aroma, with just a hint of lemon. Wheat and yeast flavors kick the flavor profile off as well, and this beer is thick texturally. Some lemony citrus and definite banana show themselves next, followed by some spicy cinnamon and cloves. Not sure about "stylish" but as for "refreshing," the texture keeps me from going that far. Simple, decent, flavorful, pretty good beer if it's available in your neck of the woods.
This is post #814. The 814 just happens to be my home turf and includes my little home town and home college sports team, Penn State. I didn't attend Penn State, but I should probably be adopted on an honorary basis anyway. Anyway, this post is dedicated to all of you that tailgated with me or continue to do so since I've been long gone!

Everybody gets adopted by Penn State.
I too think this beer is very basic, nothing stands out to me, but I don't mind drinking it.
Aw, I thought I was special. :)
It's good to have some simple, decent beers around. This could easily be one of them.
Personally, I think it would be more enjoyable on a hot summer's day than the middle of winter...but maybe I'm a bit strange.
I agree with Vanessa. Good review, we also did this beer at www.lotzoo.com if you'd like to watch it.
I don't know, Vanessa. It had some good flavors, but the texture had me saying it's not very refreshing.
John, you will learn to agree with Vanessa and only pick a few battles to disagree on. LOL. Gonna go find the lotzoo review now.
LOL
Rob & disagree on more beers than we agree on I think; but isn't that the joy of craft beer? Just like there will always be people that love anchovies... ;)
Odd, very Odd taste. But, sometimes Odds refreshing!
