Narragansett Summer Ale

Today I'm drinking Narragansett Summer Ale brewed by Narragansett Brewing Company in Rochester, New York. I was sent two 16 ounce cans by the agency representing the brewery, so as usual, beware of my typical bias. The can is a nice blue. On the front is a small picture of a surfer catching a wave in front of a large building. If you spin the can 180° you will see the story telling you that building is the Narragansett Towers (I think).

Lemony citrus and wheat, fresh and bright aroma. The citrus and lemon flavors that kick things off are juicy and sharp, really waking up your taste buds. A flavorful grainy and toasted sweet balance comes next. Fresh and clean throughout. Lightly bitter at the finish. Nice carbonation and decent body, not a watery beer. Very drinkable and I could easily go for another right now, especially at 4.2% alcohol. I threw about 500 batting practice pitches this morning, so this refreshing beverage was earned times ten!
